Pick an event that is different than books because you would stand out more. Make sure your signing is targeted to your readers. Create a FB event and post to it. Offer something to bring people to your booth so you can talk about the book. You also can coordinate a free download with the date of the signing and give out a flyer with that information. Make sure you have bookmarks and signs on the day of the event. Invite people to attend your book signing. Post the event on your Google profile and post about it regularly.
