The Bye Bye Blues Boys Band (BBBBB) has been featured at the "Jazz Bash By-the-Bay" (formerly Dixieland Monterey) for many years. The band was formed in the 1970's by Don Pellerin and I took over the group when he moved to Paso Robles a few years ago. The Bounce Kitty! Buskers plays locally at Carmel Craft Brewing Company, Red House Café and many others. Sometimes you can find the us at the Monterey Farmer's Market. I am a musician and got started here locally when I moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 1984. I have played with many groups over the years including the Bye Bye Blues Boys Band. The Bounce Kitty! Buskers grew out of the Monterey Lighthouse Jazz Band. When the Leader of the Monterey Lighthouse Jazz Band set off in a new direction, the remainder of the group got together and formed the new group - The Bounce Kitty!
