We are passionate storytellers who bring intimate knowledge of our fauna, flora, architecture, literature, agriculture and history to our tours and events. We are thoughtful, thorough and competent, patient and flexible and have a sense of humor.
How We Got Started
Interested in a change of pace we founded California Legacy Tours in 2003. Building on our experience as teachers, historic researchers and our work for State Parks we found this a perfect fit.

With tourists returning we had an uptick in individual ticket sales. We estimate the group/conference traffic to be delayed to at least October if not spring of next year. We hope to be at pre Covid levels by March 2022.

Our tour business has seen 100% cancellations for March and April so far. This is understandable but there is no preparation for a total loss of business for the next 2 months and possibly longer. The upside is that my staff and I are not as exposed to the virus as a lot of our clients are...

Our tour business has seen 100% cancellations for March and April so far. This is understandable but there is no preparation for a total loss of business for the next 2 months and possibly longer. The upside is that my staff and I are not as exposed to the virus as a lot of our clients are international travelers. We are hoping the bookings will come back once the worst of this epidemic has passed. Stay happy and healthy.
