Monterey Bay Design Group was started by Craig Riddell and grew from his passion for innovative design and building techniques.
Mr. Riddell has 30 years experience in the building and design trades. He has spent more than a decade on the PG Planning Commission (4 years as Chair), and was also a member of the Traffic Commission, the City's Historic Resource Commission and a board member of Pacific Grove Heritage Society.
Much of his building and design work has been in commercial restaurant field including Elli's Great American Restaurant in Salinas and Monterey, Lallapalooza on Alvarado Street in Monterey, Lalla Oceanside Grill on Cannery Row, and Lalla Grill in the Del Monte Shopping Center. Mr Riddell has also worked with CODG of Carmel and Hare Construction of Pacific Grove on numerous custom homes in Big Sur, Carmel, and Carmel Valley.
