If you're part of a networking group, what value have you found from it?

Have not had much luck with networking from Chambers or BNI and maybe its just the groups that I have belonged too. Do not want to get into my opinion other than it just did not work out for me. If anyone wants to connect to discuss I would be more than happy too.
