35+ years of teaching and training give me a world of experience to share with you if you want to learn horsemanship in depth. I teach Dressage, which is the classical foundation for good riding, but I don't care a hoot what saddle you ride, just so long as you have a love of horses and a desire to learn! I have some really fabulous schoolmaster horses to assist in teaching you-they are seasoned show horses with a great love of teaching on their own, so we make a super team. However, if you prefer to learn with your own horse, you can trailer in for lessons and have just as much fun. I am located at Mariah Farms, Castle Rock. I also offer small, exclusive riding intensives in Portugal on Lusitano horses for those interested in an immersive cultural experience.

I have been teaching showing and training all my adult life-but decided to make it official about 30 years ago. I am one of the few trainers who have made a full time "go" of this business and stayed with it for a very long time.
