Honey Made is an Austin, TX. based RNB band. We perform what we like to call Texas RnB. It is pure Texas and pure Soul. The music is sweet as honey and smooth like bourbon. We were twice voted the "Best Live Band" in Austin by the readers of Austin Fit Magazine in their "Best of Austin 2022" and "2023" list. The band is available for gigs, concerts, music festivals corporate events and weddings.
The Band originally formed as Mama K & The Shades in the summer of 2013 and had had a good run including being named the Artist of the Month by The Austin American Statesman in March 2016 and being an Official SXSW 2017 showcasing artist.
After the band lost founding member and saxophonist David McKnight in drowning accident in 2015 and the female lead singer Kelsey Garcia left the band in the fall of 2017 the band rebranded as Honey Made in 2018. The name is a tribute to David McKnight who always said that when the music was really good "it was Honey Made."
