I wish someone had given me the advice to learn as much as I could about finance, so I would have had a better understanding of how closely tied financial knowledge is to entrepreneurial success. I also wish someone had told me that if I wanted to successfully scale the growth of my entrepreneurial venture, I needed to model my venture after other successful entrepreneurs in my industry (customizing my model to my strengths, while compensating for my weaknesses).
