The closing of businesses greatly impacted my two businesses. My piano/vocal studio will be closed until September due to the closeness of student and teacher at the piano. I will reopen when the schools reopen. However, I fear I will have no students due to so much unemployment at this time. I’m hoping people can afford to take lessons once again. My other business is playing in a duo. Many restaurants and wineries are unable to employ musicians at this time as they are trying to catch up themselves financially. This has really hurt musicians financially as we have no income coming in.
