Chagrin Valley Speech Therapy Services, LLC is a small, privately owned, speech therapy practice serving children in the eastern Cleveland suburbs. My name is Melissa Baker M.S CCC-SLP and I have twenty years of experience working with children in both private and public school settings in Massachusetts and Ohio. My specialty is working with children and adults with autism. I provide consultation, assessment, and therapy services as well as contracts to school systems and staff in-services. I'm an instructor in the Dept. of Psychological Sciences at Case Western Reserve University and have presented at state and national conferences on topics related to helping children with autism.

I've always had a dream of opening my own practice. I provide high quality/customized services and really work hard to make a difference to children and families. I've met too many families that are frustrated by the lack of services provided in the schools and would like to help fill that need. For 13 years, I supervised the speech therapy department at Monarch Center for Autism in Shaker Heights and am passionate about helping children with autism and other complex communication needs reach their greatest potential.
