We are a smaller AV production company based out of East-Central Illinois and our spring calendar has been nearly completely wiped out, with an expectation that it will be completely empty within the next few days. We understand the great importance of social distancing and the steps that venues, bands, promoters, local authorities, and state/federal government are taking to protect the general welfare of our at-risk communities, however, the widespread cancellation of events, concerts, graduations, etc, is having a devastating impact on our business. Without relief, we will have to conduct layoffs nearly immediately to curtail expenses that will drain our reserves and should cancellations continue into the more profitable months of June, July, or August, our business may suffer losses leading to closure. We are keeping a close eye on the federal/state government and what actions they will take in the coming days to assist businesses such as ours tied so closely to the one thing people should above all else not be doing anytime in the immediate future. Our hearts go out to all our fellow AV production companies and everyone working in the service industries. We hope all will be able to weather the storm.
