BlueRio Strategies and its BlueRio Institute assist others in manifesting transformative SHIFTS in personal and professional leadership, strategy, resilience, and communication. As the founder, I consider myself a Purposeful Pathfinder; I offer innovative approaches to overcoming adversity, leading with confidence and making a positive impact. Believing that strategy and compassion are not isolated in successful pathfinding, I work with clients to move their visions into reality using leadership coaching, training, motivational speaking grounded in a unique blend of evidence based as well as intuitive approaches. And when more insight and energy us needed, I will also partner with other talented professionals.

Many great answers here. I feel it may depend on the situation. The more we become an online culture, the fewer people even keep business cards. I used to ONLY hand over if asked. I was also taught if the person has a much higher position - only offer if asked. It seems a lot is changing in the networking area... Now if I am in a discussion and it seems I can either help the other person ( via my services or by connecting with someone else) OR if I think they could help me, I ask while handing over. In other words, something along the lines of "Great to meet you - if you would like - here's my card - would love to stay in touch and see how we might support each other in the future." Rarely do I just hand over and say - here's my card. Although in a few situations, that may be fine.
