I have toured the USA, Canada, The Bahamas and Japan for over 25 years. I enjoy making people laugh with my stand-up, my comedy books and my WEB Series "Bengleton Socks". I have worked Comedy Clubs, Cruise Ships, Special Events, Resorts, Country Clubs and Private Events. I'm also an actor in Indie Films and web series.

I totally understand these situations. On 9/11/2018 I had a near fatal heart attack and had quadruple bypass on 9/12/2018. I'm still recovering and as an entertainer it's been tough because not only could I not perform for over a month, but I still can't drive to far, I'm up to about a six hour...

I totally understand these situations. On 9/11/2018 I had a near fatal heart attack and had quadruple bypass on 9/12/2018. I'm still recovering and as an entertainer it's been tough because not only could I not perform for over a month, but I still can't drive to far, I'm up to about a six hour drive one way. I did come up with a lot of material from this situation and I'm currently on my "Comeback from a Heart Attack" tour. I have learned to rest, eat better, exercise and reduce my stress. I don't think you push a child into anything to satisfy YOUR dreams. You give a child time to grow and see what they have a proclivity for and support them in what ever they decide to do, within reason of course. I speak from being an entertainer for 25 plus years, this is a hard business and I'm still learning. This is the last place I would push a child unless they were A) Very passionate about it and B) Had some talent that could be coached and nurtured.

Radio and print media are still the Kings in the entertainment world, but social media is very close behind them. Demographics play a big part as well with use of any of these marketing strategies, getting the word out in advance, but not to far out, is a big factor as well.
