M & M Wood Design LLC is dedicated to creating custom one-of-a kind wooden pieces that fit the wants and needs of each individual customer. Having both worked in the hospitality industry, Matt and Missy understand the importance of a friendly and generous reception and go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction with each inquiry. M & M Wood Design LLC also recognizes the importance of philanthropy and community involvement. By founding #cuttingboardsforacause, they directly support Pay It Forward Charleston, a local non-profit supporting the food and beverage community in time of crisis, by donating a portion of proceeds from each cutting board sold directly to this cause. They have merged with Southern Smoke Foundation: 'from farmers to fry cooks, servers to sommeliers, Southern Smoke takes care of our own by putting dollars directly into the pockets of food and beverage workers when it’s needed most.'

During the COVID pandemic, Matt decided he wanted to follow one of his passions, woodworking, and open his own business and so he did. 5 years later we are expanding our customer base and project workload all while being a full time Chef and Father. We hope to one day do woodworking full time and have a larger woodshop to work out of.
