Have any of you moved from a sole proprietor into a partnership? If so, what do you wish you had done differently and what do you wish you had known?

I have not entered into a partnership. Close a couple times, I'm too much of a control guy probably...... One of my early mentors always advised me: never enter into a partnership unless you can agree on your exit strategy from the beginning.
If the partnership doesn't work well or if a partner has a life changing situation and wants to get out.....have a process predetermined.
