Linda and Rita’s sole focus is to equip cat parents with the knowledge and tools needed to manage unwanted cat behaviors. Their goal is to help more cats can remain in their forever homes with their human companions. They also want to help cat owners to develop a deeper, stress-free, relationship with their felines by sharing their knowledge of cat behavior, especially when it comes to multi-cat households.
With 11 and 18 cats respectively, Linda and Rita live what they teach.
Understanding cats and their behaviors is a natural ability for both Rita and Linda, and they consider it to be their true gift and “calling” in life. Both Linda and Rita are certified cat behavior consultants and life-long cat lovers, both having multi-cat households. Hosts of Pet Life Radio’s 19 Cats and Counting, Rita’s and Linda’s “cat behavior consulting magic” comes from over 30+ years of experience as cat owners, cat rescue volunteers, cat foster parents, PLUS over 17 years of experience running a Cats-Only pet sitting company.
Rita and Linda’s calling as Certified Cat Behavior Consultants (they call themselves Cat Meow-nipulators) has helped thousands of people to better understand their cat companions. They can help find solutions to issues that might otherwise cause a cat to be surrendered to a rescue or shelter. They have helped many people, including some well-known celebrities, to better understand the feline world. (No, we can’t tell you who!)
With over 134,000 cats being surrendered to shelters yearly in the United States due to behavior problems, Rita and Linda have made it their mission to lower this figure. This number does not include those cats that are left behind when people move, who are put out on the streets to fend for themselves, or find themselves “lucky” enough to land in a Rescue.

After selling Just For Cats Pet Sitting to Meowtel, Rita dedicated her life to helping people struggling with unwanted cat behaviors. Soon, her BFF Cat Behaviorist Linda Hall joined Rita. Together launched their company, The Cat Behavior Alliance!
