Interocept Labs was founded by Dr. Bethany Ranes, a neuroscientist with a passion for closing the gap between research and real-world impact. After years of conducting applied neuroscience research with the Army, Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, and UnitedHealth Group, Dr. Ranes saw too many groundbreaking opportunities getting stuck in the lab. Promising insights that could transform lives weren’t reaching the people who needed them most—and that needed to change.

With this vision in mind, Interocept Labs was created to take cutting-edge neuroscience and test it with innovative, practical solutions. Our work helps translate complex research into strategies and products that thrive in the real world.
