Mathnasium Learning Centers strive to teach elementary, middle, and high school students math the way that makes sense to them. The hallmark of our program has been the way that it engages kids and gets them to know math at a level that is far beyond adult expectations. Today, over 35 years after its inception, the Mathnasium Method™ is providing children all over the world with the confidence, critical thinking skills, and mathematical ability to last a lifetime. We specialize in math tutoring, customer learning plans, personalized instruction, homework help, and SAT, ACT, and other standardized test preparation. Best is referrals from existing customers. So, we take care of our students and always give the best service. We maintain a great relationship with our parents, as well. It's about building relationships. 2.We subscribe to a web service - Thumbtack.com. This is a site where people looking for a service (tutoring, Handyman, etc.) go. You are informed when your category is activated and your key words are used. You then get to bid on the job. Works well for us.
3. We work with the PTAs in the area and do a lot for the schools at no charge to them.
Whatever you do, it must be consistent.

It is Unwise to use them, but they are effective (Some of the time.) This applies to life, as well. Some actions might be effective in in the short term, but are unwise to be continued in the long term and will end up costing you more (time, money, relationships, sleep, etc) in the end.
Networking is great...if you are able to talk with people. I would suggest joining a social group first. Kiwanis, Rotary, Toast Masters, maybe even a group from your church or temple. This would get you used to talking with people with out trying to sell to them. When you are comfortable with...

Networking is great...if you are able to talk with people. I would suggest joining a social group first. Kiwanis, Rotary, Toast Masters, maybe even a group from your church or temple. This would get you used to talking with people with out trying to sell to them. When you are comfortable with these groups, then look for a business networking group that could teach you how to network, like a BNI. There is structure to the meetings and you would have a coach to help you present and talk to others.

I wanted my own business and looked for an opportunity with less risk than trying to do something by myself.Franchising is a ready made platform that allows an engineer, such as I, to step up and run a business. My mind set is "Failure is not an option.", so I have kept at it until it has succeeded.
