How We Got Started
Jim founded JPG Advisors, LLC after experience as an Engineer, Operating Executive, involvement with professional services with engineering, management consulting, accounting and legal firms. With his technical and business backgrounds Jim noticed an opportunity with emerging companies on operational challenges & product development.

In a perfect world, corporations should NOT pay income taxes. THE SHAREHOLDERS SHOULD! Corporate earnings distributed or not should be charged to shareholders who then are responsible for income taxes! Similar to a sub-chapter S corp.

I have found a number of customers, the problem is the projects have been put on hold. The usual suspects now; lack of manpower, materials or changing customer demands to keep moving forward.

One a collaboration with other Continuous Improvement Professionals to assist small-medium manufacturers. The other is a partnership with a distribution client to launch new products. That partnership includes collaborating with a design engineer. We have worked together for years.

We have been holding events in a large separate room in a local restaurant for several months. Plenty of spacing and no one is getting into anyone's face. We meet monthly and attendance has been good. The event is an open forum to discuss business ideas.

In reality this is nothing new for small businesses. Before the pandemic, large corporations and many consumers were demanding price cuts, hence keeping costs in align should have been a practice. Now with costs rising, prices can not, nor should they follow to the same extent! GOOD COST MANAGEMENT!
