Our Executive Director presents keynotes and workshops for parents and teachers worldwide. Her award-winning book, “The Upside of Digital Devices: “How to Make Your Child More Screen Smart, Literature and Emotionally Intelligent” is a primary resource for remote learning tips and healthy tech habits.
Our Executive Director spent 30+ years working with 500,000 children. She is an educational innovator and master teacher who has worked with hundreds of thousands of children. Before starting the ICMC, she asked thousands of parents and teachers two crucial questions:
-What does a positive relationship with screens and technology look like?
-How can screen time best serve our children educationally and developmentally?
The answers to these questions drove the creation of Screen Smart® an accelerated e-learning program that boosts focus, self-regulation, literacy and social emotional learning for PreK-2nd Grade.
