I am a junior member of the Avalon Chapter of the Council for Canadians. I am amazed at how dedicated all members are to the Common Good. This came today to be shared. As a Hematologist and a former Hematologist/Oncologist I have been concerned for decades about the links between certain viruses, chemicals and radiation with a late risk of cancer. I was amazed to learn that we humans share some of the same genes as trees! Swiftly followed by alarm as I learned just how many chemicals that may trigger cancer into the our industrial forests and now a growing concern about GMOs.
