Friditas store name came from my little chihuahua Frida!
We the Dogs of the United States of America want longer walks in the sunshine with our humans, treats and bones on demand, and extended belly rub sessions! But what do we want more than anything? We want to know that all our furry friends are safe and comfortable with loving families.
That was Mayor Frida Clark’s message as she led the City of San Francisco for a day in November of 2014. Frida is a rescue dog with tons of doggie wisdom and life experience who had the good fortune of being adopted by her human, Dean Clark, through the SPCA several years ago. It doesn’t take long to notice that Frida has a knack for captivating the hearts of just about everybody she meets, and of course being really cute doesn’t detract from her leadership abilities one bit!

Friditas is a proud supporter of rescue dogs by aiding efforts to save the lives of pets who’ve been neglected or abandoned. Frida was a homeless dog with no family or caretakers, who became the Dog Mayor of San Francisco. Her life has been a great inspiration for us and we know you’ll fall in love and be inspired by her too.
