Wall Street Journal: Who's Paying May Rent
Posted by:
Our President and his team have made it abundantly clear regarding rent. If you can make rent without jeopardizing your businesses life...make it. If you can’t then you can’t and if you feel you need to hold the cash outlay for rent do so put it other use or set aside to possibly catch up. Much is going to be forgiven by the feds. Rent should be your last concern. Landlords will survive. Period.

Except the rent will eventually need to be paid. We can't be evicted for 3 months but the rent isn't forgiven. It will need to be paid at some point. When we open again it will be impossible for us to pay rent plus additional rent.

I don’t think you can be legally evicted over this. Your biz rent default will be covered by the relief package. Again you should not lose your biz over rent
default.
Not meant to be critical or presumptive but consult with legal. Your landlord can file the losses collect.
