Our team works together to help small businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs develop their visual identity. We strive to make the design process as easy and as simple as possible. Your site could use a video as the intro to the website instead of the picture that is at the beginning. The pictures would probably look better if it was in color instead of black and white and you might want to stage your pictures at a gym or somewhere professional instead of a backyard with...

Your site could use a video as the intro to the website instead of the picture that is at the beginning. The pictures would probably look better if it was in color instead of black and white and you might want to stage your pictures at a gym or somewhere professional instead of a backyard with regular clothes on since you are promoting self-defense classes. I'm also assuming that you have some form of uniform that your instructors wear.....that would be great to solidify your business and your brand. The site is also having problems with conforming to the layout. On your pricing page, some of the prices are at the right size while others are stretched all the way to the border. On your services page, there are huge gaps in between the services (those should be fixed). Lastly, your logo should be a stand-alone logo with no background to give it a much cleaner look. Hi Arthur,I took a look at your website and there a few recommendations that I have for you. On your homepage when you first open the site there is no clear communication as to what you do or who you are. As you scroll down the page the background is very pixelated but most important it doesn't belong and makes the wording very hard to read. The payment option on the bottom of the page should be moved to one specified page for that option and not on every page because it gives the message to everyone that you are trying very hard to get paid. On your services page, you need to separate the image and the wording. They cannot be on top of each other because it makes it hard to read. The service price looks good but it is missing a call to action or button to take someone to a payments page to sign up for services. The same situation is happening on your Yurhome Page, but when you scroll down the pictures and the wording are laid out much better and should be done that way throughout your site.For your team page, you should retake photos all at the same time so that it looks cohesive and uniform.The payments page needs a better layout and the pricing has an additional price that you do not find on any other page which makes it questionable. Finally, the careers page should have a button that leads someone to a contact form. These are my recommendations if you need any further help with your website we can definitely give you a hand with developing and or redesigning your site. All in all it is a very good tool.
I would have to agree with a few of the comments on here in regards to your website. You need to tell a story especially on your home page. If you just place a contact form and ask people to get a quote most people won't even bother to continue looking at your services. It's like that old saying...

If you just place a contact form and ask people to get a quote most people won't even bother to continue looking at your services. It's like that old saying that people eat with their eyes instead of their stomachs. People shop with their eyes and are more likely to contact you if they like what they see as soon they open your site. There is no point in working on getting people to your site if the content isn't right.
Adwords is a great tool if you know how to use it for your particular brand or business. Keywords are great but you need to know which keywords are working at the moment (They constantly change), but you also need to have specific keywords on your site, create backlinks, create promotions on social media that link back to your site.

Your monthly budget will always depend on what outcome you want to see every month....as well as what industry or business that you are in. I say this because, at the moment some companies have a lot of competition and as a result will have to pay more than someone else who doesn't have that problem.
Realistically, you will need to pay more upfront to design a good site. We start our websites at $950 and add on to that depending on what additional services you are looking for. On a monthly basis we maintain sites starting at $150. Additional features are Ecommerce, SEO, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, PPC & Graphic Design Services.
On the low end I would say your monthly cost can be anywhere from $200 - $250 and on the high end you are looking at $650 + a month.

While opening a full fledged restaurant will take tons of capital, your client can start out small with a catering company. Catering for friends and family at every event possible. Work on getting her a logo and some business cards so that people will begin to take her seriously. Have her set up a PayPal account so that she can invoice clients and accept credit card payments on the spot. This is how I started my graphic & web design company and now I've been operating as an LLC for over 4 years.
