Yes, after performing of the survey, staking of the corners or construction offset info, if you don't surrender the paperwork, as in survey drawing or notes to a contractor until a payment is made, I'll have the best results in getting covered for my time involvement. Now, this doesn't work as well on construction projects, but it sure does function well with surveys & subdivisions that have to be processed thru a government entity, or thru a closing transaction - for me & my business. Of course, i chose my clients carefully and being a fairly good judge of character sure helps.
