About Us
The Music Suite is a full line music store, except that we do not have many folk instruments. We have band and orchestra instruments, pianos, the most print music in Columbia, lessons, gifts for the musicians, and we will always try to help you in any way possible.
How We Got Started
Thirty seven years ago in August we opened our store in Parkade Plaza. At that time my husband was a pilot and my son, Scott taught saxophone at the store. It was a humble start but the Lord has been very good to us.

So much to love about my business!!! Seeing and working with the kids that are starting the band or orchestra experience is great fun! It's that time of year, starting this month!! Also, when someone comes in looking for a certain piece of music and we can supply it for them, it gives us a warm feeling when they share with us how much this certain song means to them. I just had an 85 year old woman who is interested in buying a piano that we offered a special price to fit her budget. She wants to keep her brain sharp and what better way than playing the piano which uses both sides of the brain. Young students of piano take lessons here and are so much fun to watch as they grow, both physically and in their love and learning of music!!! I could go on and on and that is why I have been here, in business, for 33 years!!!

Both are important but our sales are mainly one on one. You have to play the piano before you buy it.

Streetside Records.....they had everything and were always so helpful and had great deals on their stock.

Things have been a little slow so I sent out an email to my repeat customers to see if they wanted to pick up their Christmas gift early. I let them know how much I appreciate their continued support of the store. It seems to have helped.

Most of my advertising is done by word of mouth. The teachers that do business here and the other music stores send people into our store since we are the only one that handles print music. I've not tried the other type of click on ads.
