We are now a snack company. Currently we are featuring our candy, snacks, Candy Pops and specialty dips and spreads. Our pretzels are on hiatus during this time. We still do events
How We Got Started
Our Snacks with a Twist is our newest adventure to encompass our Candies, fudge, candy bark, dips and spreads. Our line of gourmet flavored mini twist pretzels in Zesty Ranch, Fiesta Taco, Cinnamon, ChipotleQue, Harvest Pumpkin (seasonal), Peppermint Cocoa (seasonal Christmas) and Dill Pickle are such to make your day!

I have a snack company - Snacks with a Twist by Nay's Creative Ways. We originally started with gourmet flavored mini twist pretzels and then expanded into more snacks and changed the name of our company. While we were still Pretzels With a Twist, we were doing a Farmers type market and I was approached by a very tall woman claiming my Spicy Twist recipe was hers. 2 things - 1. I created the recipe by experimenting in my kitchen and 2. She hadn't tasted my pretzels. She escalated in volume and intensity and continued to harass me. I kept telling her that she hadn't even tried them and that I created my recipe. I was thinking of ways to get her to leave (I grew up with 10 brothers)! Her mother came up to the table with her head down and began tasting the pretzels. She quickly looked up and told me that they were delicious, put her head down and literally ran off while her daughter continued her tirade! She then noticed that I had a Cinnamon Twist pretzel and began demanding that I give her the recipe just as loudly as before. I stood up on my tippy toes and as loud as I could, screamed "No". She exclaimed back "no" and again, I said no and told her she was ridiculous and to move on and finally she did. I then burst out laughing!
Yes, it gives value to the event. People then have a stake in it. It's a commitment that isn't as easily brushed off.
