Tranquility Salt Cave is Columbus' only salt cave!

Our salt cave is a man-made cave which has been constructed with Himalayan rock boulders around the perimeter of the room. These boulders are from floor to ceiling, with over 5 tons of salt in the room.

These pink Himalayan rock boulders are over 250 million years old, and they contain 84 trace minerals, and have been hand mined from the Himalayan mountains.

The lovely lights on the ceiling are like watching the stars in the sky.

Granulated Himalayan salt on the floor gives your feet a relaxing massage as you walk across it.

Then you lie down in a zero gravity chair, and listen to gentle meditative music as you drift off to your zen place.

Halotherapy utilizes salt for its healing abilities. Pharmaceutical grade salt is infused into the air, and travels to the deepest part of your lungs, encouraging healing and protection from illness. The pure air environment inside the cave is allergen free and saturated in negative ions.

Negative ions neutralize the positive ions found in the toxins in the air and create a pure environment while helping to lift ones mood, and to increase the release of serotonin.
