We exist to help people and people helpers restore hearts, minds, and relationships with God and each other through grace and truth. We offer individual, couples, family, and group counseling, as well as come alongside Christian counselors and ministers to encourage and support them in their ministries.

While still serving as an active duty Air Force chaplain, Dr. John gained a lot of experience counseling couples and families during wartime. He felt called to offer his gifts to those outside the military community, too. Thus started Mighty Marriages Ministries. Upon retiring, the ministry was incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the name The Center for Mighty Marriages & Families. In 2025, the name was changed to Restoration Counseling Ministries, to better describe who we are and what we do, rather than a place.
