Cristina Sales is the founder and lead consultant for Paperless Medical Solutions, LLC, a San Francisco Bay Area based company that specializes in practice assessment, optimization analysis, and implementation of Electronic Health Record systems leading physicians into the future of health care in America and abroad.
Born in Europe, Cristina grew up in Ontario, Canada where she worked directly with midwives, lactation consultants and the Association of Ontario Midwives to create licensing processes, enabling midwives across Ontario to practice legally and bill for their services.
Having moved to California in 1993 a successful private medical billing company was formed.
During this time she appealed the statuses of licensed midwives to be instated as primary care
providers with the Teamster Unions setting precedence for licensed midwives to become recognized as primary OBGYN providers.
This major success led her to create a billing system for midwives, which allowed them to legally bill for services provided in a home setting.
She assessed and converted an ineffective office into a productive, lucrative practice using electronic medical systems as a Private Clinic Administrator in Oakland .
In 2011, Cristina founded Paperless Medical Solutions and since then the company has expanded to assisting over 100 providers in the optimization of their practices and the implementation of EHR
(Electronic Health Records.)
Passionate about healthcare she remains engaged in the ongoing discussions of the future of affordable healthcare in America that remains patient‐physician centric through purposeful Best Practices, Care Quality Measures,  Meaningful Use, HIE protocol, and Security Risk focused projects.
Today, Cristina leads a team of professionals: nurses, IT specialists, physicians, and billing and
administration specialists, offering a complete medical consulting solution to varied practices,
taking them into the future.
