In the past 6 months, i've spent about $1,000 on my senior kitty, not including the change to an all wet-food diet. He was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and before the diagnosis, he was sick twice with kitty colds. The insulin is expensive. So as of right now, i guess i haven't reached my limit.

So sorry about your little one...Please see my post above. You might want to look into getting his gut flora in order, and senior vitamins & probiotics (found at, "Only Natural Pet" Great site with helpful customer service) and making your own or getting a wet food that is Organic! Coco Licious with Coconut Oil by Party Animal is FANTASTIC!!! From my experience, these things I have suggested saved Bailie's life! All the best, Holli

If you can't take care of the cat, and/or it has become too expensive, you can take him/her to a no kill shelter where they will take care of your cat or find another owner to take care of him/her. This is the kindest thing you can do if it becomes too much of a burden. www.klaceysphotography.com
