Since July 2007, I have had the privilege of supporting the people of Corvallis and surrounding areas, get back to a life they enjoy.
By helping reduce physical pain, people are resuming daily activities and increasing the amount of ‘fun and play’ in their lives. Not to mention, reducing the effects of stress, the body and mind are able to reduce and release the ‘fight or flight’ response. Getting back to LIVING life is the priority, for most of my patients.

It all started in October 2000, my mom had a spontaneous disc rupture of c4-c5-c6 that created severe and debilitating neck and shoulder pain. She had surgery the day after thanksgiving, removal of the exploded disc material, which travelled down her spinal column, and titanium plates placed anchored between her vertebra. There had been so much nerve/spinal damage from the disc ‘exploding’, healing was going to be an incredibly slow and long process.
When my mom wasn’t able to reduce the amount of pain medication she was taking, it was recommended that she see an acupuncturist. So June of 2001, she started acupuncture 2-3/week for 5 weeks. On the 6th week, we met for coffee and she told me about her experience. Starting with ‘GUESS WHAT?! I’ve gotten off more than 50% of my pain medication in a MONTH!’
The rest ... continues to be history in the making.
