Don & Marilyn Bolton opened up Bolton Carpet in Corona Del Mar in 1959. After a few years they incorporated as Newport Floor Covering, Inc. in 1962. When they retired in the early 80s they sold the store to Steve and Wally who were employees at the time. Steve eventually bought out Wally and bought into the CCA Carpet One CoOp for better pricing negotiated for all. He relocated the showroom to 333 E. 17th St. Costa Mesa, May 1st, 2014, after 55 years in a 50 year lease, our building was sold and torn down in Corona del Mar.
