Ball Farms stems from a fifth-generation farm family.  Greg & Jackie Ball ventured into the green peanut business back in 1989.  Through out the years they established a successful business built on hard work, dedication & honesty along with a customer base they were glad to call friends.  In 2012 their son Matt Ball joined the team to carry on the family business. 
Matt had operated his own farming business for 15 years before joining his parents.  He produced cotton, peanuts, corn & wheat.  In 2003 Matt was awarded Jackson County's Cotton Farmer of the year.
Learning the demands of owning and operating a successful farm have proved to be effective in the green peanut industry as well.  Today, he leases 1250 acres to ensure his crop rotation is managed properly and allowing 550 aces for peanut production.  He ships peanuts from New York to California, and sells locally to grocery stores like Winn Dixie, Piggly Wiggly, and to individuals here on the farm.
