In my case,I mostly work from home, and have a local office to meet and do some work too.  Very low overhead for the broker too.  However I do see the rent/housing cost as being a big problem for most folks.  The crazy housing costs relative to income is a result of many decades of excess government intervention and negatively impacting policies.  All by design, not incompetence.
