Both of my retail businesses were shut down due to covid stay at home orders (non-essential businesses located in a mall and downtown New Orleans). I decided to diversify my business portfolio afterwards and add a service business. I am a volunteer business mentor with United Way of SE Louisiana and have been helping business owners with their bookkeeping pro-bono over the years. I decided to finally monetize my skills and open a bookkeeping firm. This has been one of the best decisions I have made.
