I am a storyteller and bestselling international award-winning author, illustrator and poet. I am the recipient of the 2024 Will Rogers Gold Medallion for Illustrator of the year. I am honored to have received over fifty literary awards for my writing and my artwork.! Living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado I have a passion for mountain beauty, environmental protection, and animals. My stories are inspired by my beautiful Welsh Corgi's, Sagebrush, Gyzmo and Willow. My hope is to make a difference by teaching problem-solving techniques for today's divisive world.

In 2016 I published my first book as a tribute to my Welsh Corgi, Sagebrush. Due to the acceptance and success of that first book I took the storyline and developed it into a series. There are currently eight "Corky Tails" storybooks, a Spanish version, a "Corky Tails" coloring book and my new book series, "The Crooked Forest" and my new illustrated poetry book, "Heart Songs."
