The mouth is for eating, the nose is for breathing, it does not matter how fast or how slow, how deep or shallow. What does matter is the in-breath equals the space, the out-breath and the space between the next in-breath. Creating a perfect sign wave (optimal bioavailability for distribution of co2 to the body, idealized our breathing baseline chemistry to allow for maximum ATP formation. We breathe up and down, not in and out. Down from the sacred T of our brow and nose, to our diaphragm receiving electrical signals from the base of the spine and neck to regulate and nurture the various systems of the body. Misuse of our overused shoulders and back instigated by mouth and chest breathing, can be repatterned in a conscious and regenerative manner. Learning that breathing is a learned behavior and not autonomic is crucial to liberating the body mind and spirit from conditioned breathing patterns from past experiences.
With over 20 years of working closely with a diverse spectrum of humans all equal in their unique expressions and gifts.
