I really like the answers that Mr Tanner gave below. With that said if you are not already offering credit cards as a method or receiving payment this is a way to collect your money faster. Cash is king and cash flow is queen. Keep the money flowing in faster than you are paying it out. Offering multiple ways for your clients to pay for purchases is a great way of doing this.
