Its somewhat confusing but not hard.  You need to decide first why you would want one.  In my case, it made sense in order to establish a payroll for tax purposes.  I know of realtors who have them and have no idea, they do cost some money and require a rather complex tax return so make sure you know why you need one and that it is worth it!
