Roger started his career in criminal law in 1996 as a prosecutor for the Dallas County District Attorney's Office. He started, like most Assistant DA's, handling misdemeanor level cases like DWI, Theft, and Possession of Marijuana. He prosecuted individuals charged with crimes committed in Dallas County and established himself as a talented trial attorney. He was entrusted with serving in both the Child Abuse and Family Violence sections, fighting for justice for the most vulnerable victims of society. In 2000 Roger left the DA's office position and opened The Law Office of Roger E. Haynes where he has built a successful Dallas Criminal Defense practice.
