About Us
As America's Pet Health and Safety Coach, I am on a mission to bring out the healthy best in pets...and their people. I teach pet first aid classes with a real dog and cat, host the Oh Behave Show on Pet Life Radio (Oprah picked as a top pet podcast), give pet first aid and behavior talks at pet conferences, write for major publications and have authored more than 2 dozen cat and dog books.
How We Got Started
For 20 years, I was a reporter/editor for major newspaper dailies and then worked in a major publishing house. In 1999, I focused on pets and their health, behavior and safety. Since childhood, I have been blessed to have cool dogs and cats as pets. I know work with the top experts in veterinary medicine, pet behavior and pet first aid.
