If someone asks me " Are you busy?" My answer depends upon how my day is going. If I talked to a lot of customers, they in turn may book a banquet or catering. Then yes I am busy. I have customers calling or emailing me questions. Some days I don't get any or very few customers asking about the restaurant. Days like that I catch up at my desk. But working in restaurant business is busy work.

For a restaurant being busy is a good thing. We need to stay busy with customers to be sucsessful. It depends on your type of business. I feel sucsessful and satisfyed with my job when all of our departments work like a clock, customers are happy, no complaints. Thing fall into place and there are no hiccups.
