LENMITV was founded in 2016 by Liliana Ospina Herbstreith, a Colombian immigrant and stay-at-home mom who saw the need for greater representation of Hispanics and their contributions in Michigan. Armed with a camera, a microphone, and video editing skills, she began traveling across the state to capture and share the stories of Latino entrepreneurs, artists, families, and community leaders.
What began as a grassroots media effort has grown into a powerful platform for storytelling, education, and empowerment. Liliana later founded Hispanic Marketing Solutions LLC to support Latino-owned businesses through bilingual marketing services, and in 2019, she launched the Talentos Latinos Awards—an annual event that celebrates the achievements and rich cultural heritage of Michigan’s Hispanic community.
