Being a Baby Boomer, I didn’t like the arm waggle I was developing, yet so many stylish clothes were sleeveless. I was having hot flashes, and often wearing a sweater or jacket to cover up was too uncomfortable. I would design sleeves and have a tailor sew them in, and received so many compliments on my top or dress. However, this was expensive and I wanted to be able to have interchangeable sleeves, but no such product existed. In 2008, when the economy crashed, and my entire family had ongoing, extreme medical bills from chronic late stage Lyme Disease - I knew I had to summon the courage to start a business with my original idea of making interchangeable slip-on sleeves!

Was it terrifying? Yes! But my love for my family and desire to create and have this product I really wanted, out-weighed my fears.

We refinanced our home to get the start-up money, and worked on patents, research and development for 3 years before we launched Sleevey Wonders! We now hold so many utility and design  patents, and are so thrilled with making our products in America, as well as making women happy all over the world! We now have so many styles that you can mix and match to create new looks for all your sleeveless clothes! We have such gratitude for our many wonderful customers!
