I began my career in nonprofit work at a drop-in center in the inner-city of San Francisco. Later, I served within the church environments as a youth leader, worship team volunteer, and in women's ministry. In both the nonprofit and church settings, I consistently saw the same challenge: mission-driven leaders distracted by complex people problems.

The turning point for me was when a church asked if I would help them through a difficult staff termination. In the end, there was no church division, no legal exposure, and no relational damage. The experience solidified my desire to walk alongside faith-based organizations as they connected compassion and compliance.

Today, through Ordinary HR Consulting, I help pastors, executive directors, and boards strengthen their policies, improve hiring practices, and build healthy teams so they can focus on the ministries that they are called to.
