We are Dragonfly Catering LLC and would like to offer you a night off from cooking! In March of 2020 my wife and I, along with millions of other hard-working Americans, were furloughed and eventually laid off from our positions in the hospitality industry. After much thought, we decided that we not only needed to do something for ourselves that somewhat resembled "work" but, also needed to find a way to give back to our community. We set out on our mission and determined the best way to do this would be to put our skills to work. We began by preparing our favorite comfort food dishes for our neighbors and friends. We felt it was also important to donate 10% of our proceeds from our weekly meals to purchase gift cards from local restaurants to give to front line workers here in Chester County. In addition, we provided meals to families in need, as well as local Police Departments, Fire Companies, and Volunteer workers.
Seeing that our vision to provide an affordable, gourmet home cooked meal to families to enjoy in the safety of their own home was in demand, we decided to invest in ourselves and create, Dragonfly Catering LLC. We provide a complete, unique, fresh, and delicious meal each week that is guaranteed to be a hit with the whole family. Additionally, we offer large or small-scale catering, as well as private chef packages that can be customized then delivered, picked up, or prepared on site!
Our team consists of Chefs Matthew Stone, Timothy Fox and Rhiannon Stone. Chef Matt is a seasoned Executive Chef with nearly 20 years in the industry, and holds a BS in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University. He has led restaurants ranging from private clubs on Cape Cod to high end steakhouses in Boston and Atlanta (Capital Grille), as well as healthier and allergen focused locations such as True Food Kitchen.
Chef Tim has 30 years of experience with farm to table dining, is a master artisan bread baker, pit BBQ master, as well as a talented pastry chef. Matt and Tim have worked together for over two years in two different concepts including their latest project: working with Spectra, Bravo, and the award-winning TV program "Top Chef”.
Dragonfly Catering’s Pastry Chef, Rhiannon Stone, aka "The Midnight Baker" is a Johnson & Wales University educated chef who creates weekly dessert specials as well as fresh baked cookies for our weekly meal kits. She is available for custom cake designs as well as anything else your sweet tooth may desire.
