Hello, I'm Derek R. Douglas, a full-time Canadian Illustrator and a part-time popcorn connoisseur.

Since 2011 I’ve been running my freelance illustration company using my time, talents and upbeat client-centred work ethic to help breathe life into my client’s vision, through expressive and dynamically charged illustrations, with a bold, beautiful-clash palette.

Besides creating, he also enjoys speaking to youth about creativity and overcoming obstacles along the way in pursuit of a thriving and fulfilling career.

Derek received his diploma from the renowned Classical Animation program at Sheridan College, in Ontario, Canada. His studies also include Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation Film-making and Children’s Book Illustration.
