Should Your Federal Government Ban TikTok?

Too many small business owners rely on TikTok for it to be banned. However, if the USA can remove it from the hands of the Chinese, that's a better way to go. I won't use it as long as China owns it. Or America, land of the free and the brave, can create an app that does all the same thing, then move people off of TikTok.

Funny, because I wouldn't use an app created and controlled by the US government... of course they control all of them from behind the scenes in terms of what can be said and how information is spun... not sure how my own government spying on me is supposed to be any more comforting than a foreign government spying on me. Heaven forbid they know what recipes I have "liked" or which drag queens I follow. LOL

I don’t think she’s implying the US government create it. I would agree with you there! But an entrepreneur in America create it.

TikTok is not ‘make or break’ for any business that is well run. The more important issue is that any organization that not only allows, but encourages activities that knowingly cause damage, destruction and death is already illegal and should be held accountable for any and all illegal activity. If they refuse to abide by our laws they can no longer function. It has nothing to do with banning anyones right to speech. We have more than enough avenues to give our opinions and speak freely about politics, religion, equal rights and everything else; this is about safety.
