"Business cards are like manure, only good if you spread them around." Someone else told me a long time ago to put your business card face up in a urinal, it will get "Peed" on a lot, but everyone will read it.

Yes, most differently! Remember all the systems of the house work independent of each other but all function together as one, the house. Just like the systems in your body are independent but all work together.

I would think so! I would be thinking the inspector would be afraid of getting his hands dirty. Shirts with a company logo work just fine,

Preston,

I make a list of about 5 to 7, starting near my house and circling back to my house. I go in introduce myself, give them one of my cards and ask for one of theirs. After I get their card I tell them they qualified for the goodie beg. If they are not busy I will talk with them for awhile. It works very good for me. With their card I build an email list for my emailing with "MailChimp".

Paul,
I am located up here in Durham, NC. The MLS service will allow home inspectors to join allowing us access to listed properties. The only problem and its not a big problem is that we are not to have the buyer there without their agent. Like I said, not a big problem. It is also a time saver when going back to pick up Radon Gas tests, don't to work in the agents schedule.
The cost to sign up was $300.00 and then $60.00 a quarter. Well worth it! Saves me a lot of time.

Good question! I don't really think about it that much. Most of the time I just lesson to what they have to say. Then I know how to respond to them, good, bad, or other. One thing I learned a long time ago is that everyone puts their shorts on when they get up the same way, one leg at a time....

One thing I learned a long time ago is that everyone puts their shorts on when they get up the same way, one leg at a time. I would say if someone was wearing loud clothes, like a clown that would stand out with me and have a negative effect on me. I met a person once in a business meeting dressed like that, I still don't have a lot of respect for him, don't trust him either. Some of it was what he said also.
